A little bit about myself.
I graduated from Luther Seminary, Adelaide, South Australia in 1974 and was assigned to my
first parish, Rockhampton, Queensland in 1975. In mid
1979 I was called to the Eight Mile Plains Parish in
Brisbane. During those years Redeemer Lutheran College was
opened and Our Saviour Congregation, Rochedale, was formed. We
remained in Brisbane for the next 9 years and then moved
2,000 kms south to serve St Mark's Church and school,
Mount Barker in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, South
Australia. In 1995 we moved north again this time to St Luke's, Nambour, and Good Shepherd,
Witta, Queensland. In October 2003 I began ministering to St Paul's
Lutheran Church & Primary School in Caboolture,
Queensland (including Bribie Island and Mt Mee). At the end of 2015 I retired from fulltime ministry and so
the contributions to this web site have not been as regular as in the
pastor. These days I enjoy some locum
ministry in congregations where a pastor is needed, spending time with
family and travelling as much as we can.
Over the years I have served on the councils and committees of numerous Lutheran schools and colleges, been a local and state leader of The Boys' Brigade, a member of various Councils and Committees and a member of the Church Council of the Queensland District of the Lutheran Church of Australia. God has come close to you through his Son Jesus. May you draw near to him.
